HIIT With Caroline
What is HIIT training?
HIIT is High Intensity Interval Training. Mostly done with none or limited equipment. HIIT training is great for those who are short on time and want to exercise at home or wherever they can. A typical HIIT session lasts a maximum of 20 minutes, not including a warm-up and a cooldown stretch.
ABOUT MY PROGRAM
We will workout for four days per week. On each day of training, we’ll emphasize specific muscle groups such as glutes, abs and upper body. We will make You a perfect everyday body look! To get better results a bit faster we will use a mini resistance band on just one training day per week. You can get one on Amazon or at any sporting goods store.
The structure of the program and how we’ll reach Your goals
Structure
- We’ll start each training with a 5-minute warm-up to prepare our body for the main training part.
- Next, we’ll continue with a 20-minute HIIT workout that consists of intervals of 40 seconds of work and 20 seconds of rest.
- After that, we’ll do a relaxing cooldown stretch.
- And The Best part is that every day is different, so it won’t get boring!
Monday
Fat Burn and Cardio
Monday is for cardio. Of course, all HIIT training is cardio, but Monday will be slightly more active to meet the new week with immense power! Also, the Monday workout is more fun because of its structure: we will go through 3 blocks for 2 rounds each, so you’ll feel the heat in your muscles and lungs.
Tuesday
Fit and Strong – Mini Band Workout
Every Tuesday we’ll use mini resistance bands to improve overall body strength and increase muscle development. There will be no exercise repeats in this workout to make it more interesting as the no same training day concept as well! Each Tuesday we will emphasize different muscle groups. You will definitely enjoy it!
Wednesday
Rest Day
Even if You are a Superhero and want to workout seven days per week – Your body needs to rest. Rest days keep you motivated for the next training day, give your muscles time to recover and guarantee faster results.
Thursday
I Go – You Go
This day will have more volume to it, as previously we were resting. I call this workout – Partners Workout. This workout is especially versatile as you can do it both by yourself or with your friend, which is extra fun and encouraging! The intervals of the workout are 30 seconds ON – 30 seconds OFF. As you finish your turn of 30 seconds, your partner takes over with the next 30 seconds.
Friday
Booty Lift + Abs
We all want a rounded peach and a flat stomach, right? I can assure You, that the main benefit is not only the sexy look. Strong hamstrings, butt and core muscles improve your everyday life quality. Moreover, it’s a very good prevention from a tight back and knee pain. Let’s pump up those muscles!
